Joint Concert with Haydock Male Voice Choir

We had a fabulous time as the guests of Haydock Male Voice Choir at St Helen’s Parish Church, a fantastic venue with even better acoustics.

The band and choir shared the mixed programme, which was well received by an appreciative audience.

We also performed two joint items, Amazing Grace and World in Union.

The band performed a varied programme from show tunes, big band and moving choral transcriptions. It was fantastic to welcome Mrs Richards in the audience, wife of the late great Goff Richards. Therefore it was only right to include two of his owns works, Lets’s Face the Music and Dance and I’ll Walk with God (a clip of which is below).

We very much look forward to the return leg in October.
